Calcutta Business School organized One Week Faculty Development Programme (FDP) On Computational Intelligence for Optimization Problems (CIOP), Technically Sponsored by Computer Society of India (CSI) Kolkata Chapter.
Calcutta Business School with Technical Collaboration with Computer Society of India, Kolkata Chapter, organized One Week Faculty Development Programme (FDP) On Computational Intelligence for Optimization Problems during March 28 – April 1, 2016. The Coordinator of the Programme was Dr. Somnath Mukhopadhyay, Dept. of Information Technology, Calcutta Business School, Diamond Harbour Road, 24 Paraganas (S), West Bengal 743503, India.
A good number of faculties, research scholars and post graduate students from various colleges and universities of the country came to Calcutta Business School to attend the programme. The faculty members were also very renowned persons in the field of Computational Intelligence and Optimization Problems. Those persons are Prof. (Dr.) J. K. Mandal, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, University of Kalyani, West Bengal. He delivered a lecture on “Introduction, Objective, Relevance & Applications of Computational Intelligence for Optimization Problems”. Single-Objective and Multi-Objective Evolutionary Computing methods were discussed by Dr. Anirban Mukhopadhyay, Associate Professor, Department of Computer Science and Engineering University of Kalyani. Prof. (Dr.) Paramartha Dutta, Department of Computer & System Sciences, Visva-Bharati University, Santiniketan delivered a lecture on Neural Computing and Hybrid Models of Fuzzy logic and Neural Network. Dr. Tandra Pal, NIT Durgapur taught Fuzzy Logic, Hybridization of Fuzzy Logic & Genetic Algorithm and Multi-objective Genetic Algorithm.
The one week programme ended with vote of thanks to the participants by Prof. (Dr.) Tamal Dutta Chaudhuri, Principal, Calcutta Business School and Dr. Bani Kumar Sinha, Professor, Calcutta Business School.
