On 22.09.2019 students took the Kriya Yoga express from Kolkata and reached Ranchi at around morning 9:00 am, then boarded the bus, and reached Simdega . Next day, students visited 3 different Self-help groups of Jharkhand State Livelihood Promotion Society (JSPL) in different locations across Simdega village. Students visited the Self-help groups at Cluster Level supported by Jharkhand State livelihood Promotion Society(JSPL) and interacted with them at length. Visiting a rural haat was an important item in the itinerary for practical exposure and the same was done both at Ranchi and Dhruwa Dam. But it was never all work and no play. Students went to Jonha Falls and spent the entire day there for some adventure and fun . Dairy visits were an important part of the itinerary and there were visits to Sudha Dairy Processing Unit and Osam Dairy Processing Unit, both at Ranchi. Finally students visited the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) office, Ranchi, which was beneficial as the students came to know the functions and operational method of NABARD and how they are helping the rural economy.
