Students at Calcutta Business School undergo 2 internships as part of their PGDM Curriculum, Summer Internship and Autumn Internship.
The 6 week Autumn Internship is meant for acquiring practical industry knowledge before students are sent for Summer Internship of 8 weeks at the end of first year.. Autumn Internship takes place in the first year. They are assigned to a particular company/ business house for undergoing the internship under the guidance of an industry mentor as well as a faculty member of the college. On completion of the Autumn Internship, students submit their Project Report to the internal guide for assessment of their performance and grades are given based on their performance.
Students undergo Summer Internship for around 8-10 weeks, at the end of first year, usually between April-June. The objective of Summer Internship is to train students as per industry requirements. Students are guided by their internal faculty and industry mentors in pursuing the Summer Internship Project. They are assigned to a particular company/business house for the purpose and on completion of their internship, students submit their Project Report to the internal guide for assessment of their performance and awarded grades basis their performance.
